Michelle Meade and Kathryn Cushwa met while attending grad school at The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. They quickly bonded, realizing they were both State Fans attending UNC, had attended the same wedding the previous year and had some mutual friends.
Both women have bright ideas, so when Kathryn suggested that they walk in the Avon Breast Cancer Walk in October of 2012 Michelle jumped right on board. Kathryn has previously walked in this walk back in 2008 and knows how much fun it is! (and how many blisters you get from it, but lets not tell Michelle that:-)
Michelle and Kathryn decided to hold a fundraiser to help raise the $3,600 minimum that the two have to raise in order to walk this October. Kathryn is a big picture thinker and Michelle likes the details, which is what got them through all their shared grad school projects and one of their professors even called them brilliant! Hopefully these to will use those skills to make this a very successful fundraiser but they will not be able to do it without your help!
